A data commons for greenhouses
Alone, we're small.
Together, we're the largest.
Free if you share. Yours if you contribute. When every greenhouse pools its data, the commons outgrows every market leader — and stays owned by growers.

The problem
Greenhouse data is locked in silos.
Every climate computer, camera and software vendor keeps its customers' data to itself. No single silo is big enough to learn what really drives yield — and growers pay for the privilege.
Fragmented
The same crop, grown in 1,000 houses, is studied in a dozen isolated datasets.
Expensive
Forecasting and benchmarking tools cost €3–15k per site per year.
Extractive
Your data trains models you'll never own and can't audit.
Today: market data split by owner
Tomorrow: one commons
HortiCommons · 100% shared, grower-owned
Watch the giants fall behind
Each leader collects data from its own customers. The commons collects from everyone. Drag the slider to add growers.

The offering
Everything a grower needs, powered by everyone's data
Six tools that get sharper with every farm that joins. Growers who share get the core set free.
Live crop counting
Phone or rail camera counts flowers, trusses and fruit per row, every week.
Yield forecasts
5-week harvest forecasts per house, trained on the whole commons.
Regional benchmarks
See how your kg/m², labour and energy compare to similar growers.
Climate insights
Link climate-computer logs to outcomes and spot what actually pays.
Pest & disease alerts
Early warnings when neighbours report pressure in your crop.
Open API & SDK
Plug in your own tools. Apache-2.0, no lock-in, export anytime.
From your greenhouse to your region
Share
Your crop calendar, weekly harvest per house and app images.
Pool
Data joins a fund owned by grower cooperatives, who hold the veto.
Learn
100 seasons from 100 farms teach more than 100 seasons from one.
Receive
Live counting, forecasts for your own farm and local benchmarks — free.
Why it's inevitable
Network effects only run one way.
A vendor grows by selling one site at a time. The commons grows every time any grower joins — and each new farm makes the tools better for all the others.

FAQ
Questions growers ask
Who owns my data?+
You do. Shared data sits in a fund owned by grower cooperatives, which can veto any use. You can withdraw consent for future uses at any time.
Can competitors see my numbers?+
No. Only aggregates of 5 or more growers are ever published, and always with an 8-week delay.
What does 'free if you share' mean?+
If you contribute your crop calendar, weekly harvest and images, the Grower plan costs nothing — forever.
Does it work with my climate computer?+
Yes. We integrate with the major systems via open connectors, and the SDK lets anyone add more.
What about my workers' privacy?+
Labour data is only reported per crew of 5+, and faces are blurred on the device before anything is uploaded.
